It's a brewery. We passed it a few days ago and I wanted to try ît. It's a bit 'poshy' (touristy)... Yes they brew all the ale on site (9 in all) but because it's on the waterfront they charge you extra for the food. We didn't bother as we are going back to our local haunt later for food anyway.
The Red Ale was good. 4.5% with toffee and biscuit undertones; as it's happy hour, only £5 a pint. Result!
The wheat beer was equally as good. We spent that much time trying to take pictures outside in the diminishing light, happy hour came and went and we had to move on.
